Following up from our previous blog post announcing Oscar and Hunt’s sponsorship of Northwood School’s Summer Fair which took place on Saturday 9th July 2016 between 11am-3pm, we are extremely delighted to let you know that the students, parents and every single person who were able to attend and donate, successfully raised over £1,000 for their chosen charities; Free the Children, Bliss, Multiple Sclerosis Trust and Sickle Cell Society UK. We are very proud of everyone coming together as one, and are especially thankful to those that organised and took part in the event as a community in order to make sure overall, it was a spectacular success.
For us and all of those that participated, it was a fantastic experience to be a part of an event organised for such a brilliant cause and we hope to continue to be involved in and even organise many more in the near future in order to build lives, offer opportunities and support all of those that are in need.
Here at Oscar and Hunt, we believe it is essential to build personal relationships with the local people, businesses and organisations and what better way to do so than to sponsor Northwood School’s summer fair 2016. Children are the future; the fair has been organised by the current students in order to raise money for charities, including Free the Children, MS Trust, Sickle Cell Society and Premature Births, with a range of stalls and entertainment, as well as a bouncy castle and many more enjoyable activities for both adults and children to take part in!
The fair will be taking place on Saturday 9th July 2016 between 11am-3pm at Northwood School and is open to people of all ages to attend, allowing us to not only be able to show support as well as appreciate the time and effort put forward by the local students but to also do our bit by donating and contributing to a fun, light-hearted event organised for a fantastic cause.
